On November 20, 2025, at about 5:36 P.M., a fatal motor vehicle collision involving multiple vehicles occurred in the Halawa area.
It was reported to the Honolulu Police Department, Traffic Division Vehicular Homicide Section, that a 29-year-old female motorist was traveling westbound on the H3 Freeway when she was rear-ended by a 19-year-old male motorist.
The initial collision caused the 29-year-old female motorist to rear-end a 58-year-old male motorist, who subsequently rear-ended a 31-year-old male motorist.
As a result of the collision, the 29-year-old female motorist was taken via Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead.
