A motor vehicle collision occurred on December 27, 2021 at around 1230 p.m. in the Mililani area.  The collision involved one Electric Bike and one Rider.  A 53 year old Mililani woman was riding her Electric Bike and for an unknown reason fell off and hit her head.   The woman was taken to The Queen’s Medical Center in Critical Condition where she later died from her injuries. 

At this time speed, alcohol, and drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision.

**After further discussion it was determined that this incident will no longer be counted as a Traffic Fatality.

The Fatality count for 2021 is 47 as compared to 53 at this same time in 2020.
