On 3-18-22, at about 5:15 pm, a serious Motor Vehicle Collision had occurred in the Ewa Beach area.

District 8 Patrol, informed the Vehicular Homicide Section, that a 2002 Nissan Frontier, pick up truck, operated by an unknown male, was traveling west on Ft. Weaver Road, when he disregarded a red traffic signal at the intersection of Keaunui Drive. The Nissan Frontier collided into a 60 year old female pedestrian, who was crossing Ft. Weaver Road in the north direction within a marked crosswalk, with a green walk signal.

The Nissan Frontier briefly stopped, but then sped away towards the H-1 Freeway, and unknown from there.

As a result, the adult female pedestrian was taken to an area hospital and was listed as being in serious condition.
