A motor vehicle collision occurred on March 29, 2022 at around 0711 a.m. in the Wahiawa area.  The collision involved one Infiniti SUV and one juvenile pedestrian.  A 37 year old Waipahu man was traveling in the north direction on Kunia Rd. and entering the intersection of Lyman Rd. when he struck a juvenile pedestrian.  The juvenile was in a marked crosswalk at the time, but it is believed that the SUV had the right of way.  The juvenile was taken to The Queen’s Medical Center in Critical condition with head and bodily injuries.  The male driver was not injured. 

At this time speed, alcohol, and drugs, do not appear to be factors in the collision.
