On October 9, 2020, at about 3:00 AM, a critical motor vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist occurred near the intersection of Geiger Road and Fort Weaver Road in the Ewa Beach area. 

On October 9, 2020, at about 3:00 AM, a 36-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Fort Weaver Road when he attempted to turn onto Geiger Road. As he turned, the 36-year-old male motorcyclist collided with the traffic island’s curb and was ejected onto the roadway. 

The 36-year-old male was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. 

The 36-year-old male was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. 

At this time, neither speed, drugs, or alcohol appear to be contributing factors in this collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
