On August 23, 2021 at about 1228 hours a serious motor vehicle collision occurred in the Mililani area.  A Toyota 4Runner was traveling North on Lanikuhana St. at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle then left the roadway and collided with a tree.  The driver of the vehicle suffered a head injury and was listed in Good condition.  The 2 other passengers suffered head and body injuries and were listed in Critical and Serious condition.  All 3 occupants were taken to the Queen’s Medical Center.  All 3 occupants were female. 

At this time it appears that speed was a factor in the collision, while alcohol, and drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision.
