On Friday, June 3, 2022, at about 11:27 a.m., a Major Motor Vehicle Collision occurred in the Kaneohe area, involving a dump truck and a parked vehicle with a male occupant.

A 44-year-old male was driving eastbound on the H3 Freeway when a witness vehicle braked in his travel lane. The 44-year-old male driver locked his brakes, veered right, and collided with a parked truck with a 59-year-old male occupant in the trucks bed.

The 59-year-old male was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Alcohol, speed and drugs does not appear to be contributing factors.
