On 5-14-22, a critical motor vehicle collision occurred in the Ewa Beach area, involving a vehicle and a City Bus.

On 5-14-22, at about 5:15 PM, a 1998 Honda sedan, operated by a 19 year old male, was headed south on Ft. Weaver Road, just south of Old Ft. Weaver Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered to the right across two lanes of traffic. The vehicle then rear ended a City Bus, that was being operated by a 54 year old male, that was stopped on the right shoulder at a bus stop.

The adult male operator of the vehicle sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of his injuries.

No one on the City Bus reported any injuries.

At this time, speed, alcohol or drugs do not appear to be contributing factors in this collision.
