The HPD Ride-Along Program gives the public the opportunity to observe police patrol activities in their community. Participants will ride with a patrol officer and hear the different types of calls for service that officers are sent to during a regular shift. Please remember each District/Division Command will make final decisions to approve or not approve due to safety of rider and personnel, staffing, background checks and etc…
