The C&C of Honolulu Parks Department has closed Kalo Mini Park for refurbishment. Doing the closure the park will be remodeled and no admittance of the public is allowed.

Mahalo to the Waipuna Woodlawn Alani Puhala Neighborhood Security Watch for hosting a terrific Potluck Dinner. A great turnout for their annual dinner and also very informative with information on CERT. Thank you to all for great evening!

Mahalo to the students and staff of Kamiloiki Elementary for hosting a Community Traffic Awareness Event. Also Mahalo to the Koko Head Lions for their community support with this event!

Mahalo to the Niu Valley Middle School for inviting District 7 CPT officers to their annual Career Day! Many great questions were asked by the students and thank you to the school staff for the delicious refreshments.

Mahalo to Wilson Elementary and Farmers Hawaii for hosting a Community Traffic Awareness Program. The students did an outstanding job holding signs to educate the public.

Mahalo to Ala Wai Elementary for having the District 7 CPT present to the children a Say Hi presentation. The children had a great time viewing an HPD patrol car and asked many questions about becoming a police officer.

Mahalo to Saint Louis Heights NSW for hosting an NSW Update Meeting. There was lots of great food and great conversation. If you are interested in revitalizing your NSW please give us a call at 723-3364.

Mahalo to the Saint Louis Heights NSW for helping educate their community about safe driving. District 7 CPT Officers with the help of the Saint Louis Heights NSW held a Community Traffic Awareness Program event. Please Drive With Aloha!

Are you interested in making your community safer? Then contact the District 7 CPT for information about starting a Neighborhood Security Watch. The Wailupe Circle Association invited D-7 CPT Officers to speak about such program. Mahalo to Wailupe Circle!

Mahalo to Kalani High School for hosting a Parent Information Night on the effects of Vaping and E-Cig. Thank you to Tobacco Free Hawaii and Angela from the Attorney General's Office for their presentation.

Mahalo to CPK at Kahala Mall for letting HPD officers volunteer for the annual Tip a Cop event to help Special Olympics Hawaii. All together we were able to raise about $4,000.00 for Hawaii Special Olympics during the weekend!

The District 7 CPT, MFUD and CRD Officers volunteered their time for the annual Tip a Cop fundraiser for Hawaii Special Olympics. Super athlete Allis attended the event at Kahala CPK to promote how important Special Olympics are to her peers.

Mahalo to Hawaiiantel for letting Crime Specialist Angela present to the Hawaiiantel employees about Cyber Bullying. There were many great questions from the audience.

As part of the ongoing effort to place the homeless in shelter, District 7 CPT and District 6 CPT conducted an outreach operation at Crane Park. Providers on this day were Ohana Services, Kalihi Palama and Veterans Affairs who spoke to the homeless at Crane.

Mahalo to the Kalaniuka Estate Members for letting District 7 CPT officers speak about crime prevention tips. If you are interested in crime prevention for your community and would like to start an NSW, contact D-7 CPT at 723-3364.

Mahalo to Kahala Elementary for hosting a Career Day! The East Honolulu CPT had a great time speaking to the children and answering their questions.

Crime Specialist Angela from the Attorney General's Office presented a Anti-Bullying presentation to the freshmen class of Kalani High School. District 7 CPT also participated to elaborate on the criminal penalties of bullying.

The District 7 CPT and K-9 Unit visited the Hawaii Kai Learning Center. The children and staff enjoyed the K-9 demonstration and the HPD vehicle displays.

Peace, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect & Love are the qualities that we would want our Keiki to exemplify everyday. HPD and many other community groups participated in the PEARL rally to spread this theme in our schools.

Mahalo to the St. Louis Heights Community Association for their active participation in beautifying Kalaepohaku Park. With the help of HPD and their members they collected 12 bags of litter and trimmings. Great Job!

The District 7 CPT attended the Wilson Elementary Career Day and had a fabulous time with the students. Many of the youngsters are very interested in becoming a Honolulu Police Officer. Mahalo to the Wilson Staff for the invitation and terrific refreshments.

Mahalo to the Hahaione NSW for their interest in starting a Citizen Patrol for their community. One of the best ways to prevent crimes is to form a group and participate in a Citizen Patrol. Excellent Work Hahaione!

The District 7 CPT presented an Active Threat Presentation to the staff members of the Cole Academy to educate awareness on this subject. Mahalo to Emily and the Cole Staff for a great day of learning!

For the first time, District 7 presented Meet The Major. This is an event to build the relationship with our East Honolulu Communities, a chance to engage in discussion with Acting Major Gordon Lum Kee and the executive officers of the district. Be on the lookout for the next meeting!
