Today, June 3, 2026, the case in connection to the May 30, 2026, assault at Waiale‘e Beach, commonly known as “Dead Man’s Curve,” was conferred with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. Petitions were filed in Family Court charging all five juvenile suspects with Attempted Assault in the First Degree.

Additionally, the two 17-year-old male suspects were also charged with Attempted Assault in the Second Degree.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are anticipated as detectives continue to identify and locate other individuals involved in the incident.
