On March 16, 2026, shortly after 6:15 p.m., The Honolulu Police Department responded to a stabbing at an apartment on Pau Street where a 40-year-old male was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.
After Homicide Detail detectives arrived on scene, a 16-year-old male was identified as the suspect and later arrested for Murder in the 2nd Degree.
The suspect was also involved in a separate Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree incident in Makiki involving a 71-year-old male.
The suspect later turned himself in and was placed under arrest.
