The Honolulu Police Department has closed Komo Mai Drive in both directions at 1840 Komo Mai Drive (near Children’s House) due to downed power lines. As a result, there is currently no vehicle access into or out of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The public is advised to avoid the area. Crews are working to address the hazard and reopen the roadway when it is safe to do so.

Pacific Palisades residents who are unable to return home due to the road closure may go to one of the hurricane refuge areas opened for Hurricane Lala. Nearby options include Kapolei High School, Moanalua High School and Mililani High School.
