Honolulu Police Department District 8 patrol officers initiated a Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree case involving two juveniles.
On September 17, 2026, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a 12-year-old male allegedly approached a 13-year-old female near a business on Fort Weaver Road, brandished a firearm, and threatened to shoot her brother.
The female later reported the incident at school. A firearm was subsequently recovered from the male’s backpack by school staff, and police were notified.
The 12-year-old male was arrested for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree and Place to Keep.
No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
