HONOLULU — On April 22, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) will honor five newly promoted sworn personnel during a promotion ceremony.
The ceremony, which will be held at Mission Memorial Auditorium, will recognize the promotions of two Majors and three Captains.
“Promotions in policing are not simply about a rank,” said Interim Chief Rade Vanic. “They represent trust from this department that they are ready to lead, to guide others and to carry even greater responsibility.”
Family and friends are welcome to attend. Video of the ceremony will be livestreamed on HPD’s official YouTube page.
