On August 11, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m., HPD executed search warrants at two separate warehouses located on the same property on Iwaena Street in Halawa.
HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail, with assistance from the District 3 Crime Reduction Unit, Forfeiture Detail, Airport Operations Group, Specialized Services Division, and Emergency Medical Services, recovered a total of 39 gaming machines, more than $22,900 in cash, illegal drugs, and drug paraphernalia, which were submitted into evidence.
“Short-term enforcement operations have been effective in disrupting illegal game rooms, but they are only one part of our broader strategy,” said Maj. Jerome Pacarro of the Narcotics/Vice Division. “Our longer-term investigations focus on identifying and holding those who facilitate, organize and profit from these operations accountable.”
HPD remains committed to addressing illegal gambling operations that negatively impact the safety and quality of life in our communities.
