On October 15, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) executed a search warrant on an illegal game room on Puʻuhale Road.
HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail, with assistance from the District 5 Crime Reduction Unit, Forfeiture Detail, Airport Operations Group, and the Specialized Services Division, recovered a total of 18 gaming machines and more than $12,000 in cash, which were all submitted into evidence.
During the course of the investigation, two males were arrested for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device.
“Our Narcotics/Vice Division officers continue to work hard every day to shut down illegal game rooms across Oʻahu. I’m extremely proud of their dedication and ability to maintain pressure through short-term enforcement operations while building long-term investigations targeting those behind these illegal enterprises,” said Maj. Jerome Pacarro, Commander of HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division.
