On July 29, 2026, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Honolulu Police Department executed a search warrant at an illegal gambling establishment on Kalauokalani Way in Honolulu, resulting in the seizure of multiple gaming machines, cash and illegal narcotics.
HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail, with assistance from the District 1 Crime Reduction Unit, District 1 Bike Detail, Airport Operations Group, Forfeiture Detail, and Specialized Services Division, recovered 11 gaming machines and more than $3,500 in cash, all of which were submitted into evidence.
A 64-year-old female and a 52-year-old male were arrested for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device. Additional investigations related to the recovered illegal narcotics have been initiated and remain ongoing.
“These continued takedown operations are only one part of our overall strategy,” said Maj. Jerome Pacarro of the Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division. “The intelligence gathered during each operation helps advance long-term investigations targeting those who organize and profit from illegal gambling.”
