On Thursday, May 7th at approximately 7:30pm, the Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail along with the assistance of District 1 Crime Reduction Unit, Forfeiture Detail and Specialized Services Division executed a search warrant on an illegal gambling type game room on Kekaulike Street.
During the course of search, a 59-year-old female suspect and 35 year-old male suspect were both arrested for Promoting Gambling 2nd and Possession of a gambling device. The arrests were made without incident.
The Gambling Detail also recovered drugs, 12 gambling machines, and $5,490 in cash which were submitted into evidence.
