On April 20, 2026, at approximately 4:10 p.m., District 2 patrol officers responded to a robbery at a business on Kamehameha Highway in Hale‘iwa.
An unknown male suspect entered the store, went behind the counter and brandished a silver handgun. He demanded money from an employee. The suspect removed a cash box and fled on foot.
A second employee attempted to stop the suspect and was shoved to the ground, sustaining minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a local male, approximately 5’9”, wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants.
