The Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division (NVD) executed two separate search warrants this past week, on Monday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 24. Both operations were led by the NVD Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) and involved investigations into sex trafficking and prostitution-related offenses.

“Human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation have no place in our community,” said Major Jerome Pacarro, Commander of the Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division. “The Honolulu Police Department remains committed to identifying victims, connecting them with available resources and services, and holding those who exploit, facilitate, and profit from these crimes accountable. We will continue to make these investigations a priority and work with our law enforcement and community partners to protect vulnerable individuals and improve the safety of our communities.”

June 22, 2026

On Monday, June 22, 2026, HPD’s NVD HTU, with the assistance of the Specialized Services Division (SSD), executed a search warrant on Pakalana Street in ʻAiea.

During the operation, investigators located multiple sex workers and offered them victim services and counseling resources. Investigators also recovered $17,777 in U.S. currency and evidence supporting prostitution-related offenses, all of which were seized and submitted into evidence.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.

June 24, 2026

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, HPD’s NVD HTU, with the assistance of SSD and the District 3 Crime Reduction Unit, executed a search warrant at a location on Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City.

During the operation, investigators located two sex workers and offered them victim services and counseling resources. Investigators also recovered $3,828 in U.S. currency and evidence supporting prostitution-related offenses, all of which were seized and submitted into evidence.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
