On December 29, 2015, Hoang Van Nguyen, a 49-year-old male, was found dead in his Chinatown apartment, located at 175 North Hotel Street. Reports indicate he was assaulted and strangled to death. Nguyen was a cook at Bac Nam restaurant and was last seen on the evening of December 24, 2015.
