Collisions Involving Death or Serious Bodily Injury Suspect

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, at approximately 1:56 a.m., an unidentified motorist operating a light-colored, transit-type van was traveling northbound on Kupuohi Street near Polina Place in Waipahu when the vehicle struck a 25-year-old female pedestrian who was in the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk. Following the collision, the motorist continued northbound on Kupuohi Street without stopping to render aid or provide the required information. As a result of the collision, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries at the scene.
