HĀLAWA — During the course of this Murder in the Second-Degree investigation, the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) identified the victim as a 43-year-old female.                                                                                                                                        

Her name will be released by the Department of the Medical Examiner when appropriate.

The suspect in this case has been identified as the victim’s husband, 38-year-old Frank Bright.

On September 6, 2025, at approximately 6:35 PM, District 3 Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested Bright for Murder in the Second Degree.

Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
