The driver and passenger involved in the incident that occurred on Kapiʻolani Boulevard in McCully on May 4, 2026, have been charged in connection with the case, upon conference with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
The driver, German Castillo, a 19-year-old male, has been charged for Theft in the First Degree, Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle in the First Degree, Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree, two counts of Criminal Property Damage in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer in the First Degree, Attempted Assault in the Second Degree and Attempted Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer in the First Degree. His bail was set at $250,000 aggregate.
The passenger, Kebit Fred, an 18-year-old male, was charged with Unauthorized Entry to Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree. His bail was set at $2,000.
