During the course of the investigation into the murder that occurred in Wahiawā on May 31, detectives determined that the 30-year-old victim became involved in an altercation with occupants and several guests of a neighboring apartment unit.
The investigation revealed that a verbal confrontation between the victim and guests of the neighboring unit escalated into a physical fight, during which the victim was stabbed multiple times.
Homicide detectives identified a 23-year-old female as one of two suspects involved in the incident.
On June 1, District 2 Crime Reduction Unit officers located and arrested the 23-year-old female for Murder in the Second Degree.
The investigation is ongoing as detectives continue efforts to identify and locate the second suspect.
