In connection with the ongoing attempted murder investigation from Nov. 23, 2025, the case was assigned to the CID Strategic Enforcement Detail. Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified the suspect as a 22-year-old male.

With assistance from the District 5 Crime Reduction Unit, officers located the suspect and arrested him for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Place to Keep Firearm, and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Separate Felony.

Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
