On December 20, 2025, just before noon, District 7 patrol officers responded to a residence on Upolo Place on a welfare check involving a 60-year-old female.
Upon arrival at the residence, officers located the victim deceased on the floor inside the home.
Preliminary investigation revealed the woman sustained fatal injuries. A 29-year-old male who was inside the residence was identified as a suspect and subsequently arrested for Murder.
On December 22, 2025, just after 10:00 a.m., the 29-year-old male suspect Micah Auna was charged with Murder in the Second Degree, bail set at $500,000.
The 27-year-old female suspect was released pending further investigation. No additional information will be released at this time.
