On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers responded to an attempted murder at Ala Moana Beach Park.

A 24-year-old male reported that following a physical altercation, the suspect returned a short time later and allegedly fired multiple rounds in his direction. The victim was not injured.

District 5 Crime Reduction Unit officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested a 24-year-old male for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree, and Resisting an Order to Stop a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.

The investigation remains ongoing.
