CrimeStoppers and the Department of the Attorney General Investigations Office are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) who stole two Jetpower III Ground Power Unit (GPU) Generators from a construction site at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, between 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the new Hawaiian Airlines terminal area located at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and took two Jetpower III Ground Power Unit generators from gates A8 and A9, which are valued at $50,000 each. The generators were still in their crates and not installed. These generators are specifically used to power up airplanes while parked at the gates and have very little street value.
