
From April 1 to June 30, 2025, Officer Anson Ahsing made a significant impact on public safety and crime prevention in District 4. During this three-month period, Officer Ahsing recorded 5 arrests leading to 8 charged offenses, issued 3 criminal citations, 17 parking citations, 81 traffic crime citations, 318 traffic infraction citations. In addition, he conducted 46 Traffic Safety Awareness Contacts (TSACs) and 84 Informational Contacts (ICs), highlighting his proactive approach to community engagement and traffic enforcement.
Officer Ahsing is widely recognized for his exceptional work ethic and proactive policing strategies. His consistent efforts contribute directly to improving traffic safety, preventing crime, and identifying and apprehending offenders. He also regularly gathers and shares valuable intelligence that aids in ongoing investigations and enhances situational awareness among his fellow officers. His insights into both known and emerging criminal activity have made him a trusted resource within the department.
Always reliable and consistently positive, Officer Ahsing sets a high standard in both performance and attitude. His dedication not only benefits his patrol area but has also influenced others. He has mentored a fellow officer who now mirrors his strong work habits and commitment to service.
Officer Ahsing was recognized as District 4’s Employee of the Quarter, during a morning meeting attended by his beat partners. Major Randall Platt made the presentation, commending Officer Ahsing’s daily routine of checking on his area, engaging with the public, monitoring suspicious activity, and taking swift enforcement action when necessary.
“Stats are a good measure of a person’s workload,” said Major Platt during the ceremony. “But an outstanding officer does much more than that. This is a guy who’s exceptional—not just talk, but someone who truly makes a difference.”
