Over nine exciting days, from August 4th to 14th, seven interns explored the many facets of HPD’s forensic science field. Each day, they participated in hands-on activities led by different units, getting an up-close look at the techniques, tools, and processes that drive real forensic investigations. The interns had the unique opportunity to work with the Crime Scene, Trace, Firearms, DNA, Drugs, Latent Print, and Graphic Artist units, gaining first-hand experience and a deeper appreciation for the diverse roles that make forensic science both challenging and fascinating.
