HONOLULU – Officers from the Honolulu Police Department’s (HPD) Narcotics/Vice Division executed search warrants at an illegal gambling room on Wanini Street in Waialua on Nov. 4, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m.
The officers, assisted by the District 2 Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and the Specialized Services Division, discovered and seized 14 gambling machines and over $4,000 in cash during the search.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for promoting gambling in the second degree and possession of a gambling device. A 40-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were arrested on separate criminal contempt of court warrants.
Then, on Nov. 5, 2025, at about 6 p.m., HPD officers from the NVD, assisted by District 3 CRU and SSD, executed a search warrant at two illegal gambling rooms on Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City. During the search, NVD officers discovered 34 gambling machines and over $9,000 in cash combined.
A patron was arrested for criminal contempt of court and two arrest warrants.
