HONOLULU – Officers from the Honolulu Police Department’s (HPD) Narcotics/Vice Division (NVD) executed a search warrant at an illegal gambling room on North King Street in Chinatown on Sept. 30, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m.
The officers, assisted by the District 1 Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) and the Specialized Services Division (SSD), discovered and seized 16 gambling machines and more than $3,000 in cash during the search.
Then, on October 1, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., HPD officers from the NVD, assisted by District 6 CRU and SSD, executed a search warrant at an illegal gambling room on Algaroba Street in McCully. During the search, NVD officers discovered 24 gambling machines and over $4,000 in cash.
