The Honolulu Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 30-year-old Kaleipilialohamaikalani Zuttermeister, who escaped police custody today.
On March 11, 2026, at approximately 5:48 p.m., Zuttermeister escaped while at Adventist Health Castle Medical Center on Ulukahi Street in Kailua. District 4 Patrol Officers arrested him for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle in the First Degree and he was being transported for medical clearance prior to being taken to the Cellblock Receiving Desk.
The suspect was handcuffed in the front at the time he escaped.
Suspect Description:
- Hawaiian male, 30 years old
- Approximately 180 lbs
- Long black wavy hair, black beard, brown eyes
- Lip piercing on lower lip (no jewelry)
- Last seen wearing a brown flannel jacket and black pants
