The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) is reminding the public of highly visible police presence throughout the event area for the Fiji Tribute Concert.
In addition to HPD, volunteers from the Honolulu Department of Emergency Management’s Emergency Management Reserve Corps (EMRC) will be on site to assist with:
- Parking and traffic control
- Crowd management
- Access control
- Support for first responders
These trained volunteers play a vital role in supporting public safety operations. They can be identified by their black uniforms with badges and authorized vehicles equipped with red emergency strobe lights.
“Mahalo for your cooperation and patience as we work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable concert experience for everyone,” said Major Clifford Ramson, Major Events Division.
