On January 7, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., police responded to a robbery at a business fronting Home Depot Kapolei.
An unknown male approached the victim on a white moped while brandishing a machete and demanded property. The victim, fearing for his safety, complied. The suspect then fled eastbound on Kapolei Parkway on the moped.
No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a local male wearing a white shirt and jeans. No arrest has been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
