On January 8, 2026, at approximately 4:30 a.m., District 1 Patrol officers responded to a robbery near Smith Street and North Beretania Street.
The 35-year-old male victim reported that he just parked a Biki bike with his backpack still on the handlebars, when an unknown male suspect approached while holding a machete. The suspect removed the backpack and threatened the victim with the machete.

Male, Micronesian, in his 30s, approximately 5’6”, wearing black shorts, a black shirt, and a black hoodie, armed with a machete.
