On January 8, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., District 1 officers responded to a Criminal Property Damage incident at 916 Queen Street in Kakaʻako.
An unknown male threw an unknown canister into a covered driveway of the building, causing an explosion that damaged the exterior concrete structure, including lighting and wiring. No injuries were reported.
The suspect fled on foot into a nearby alley. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
