On November 23, 2025, at about 9:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot fronting 555 N. King Street.
A witness reported hearing a gunshot and then observed a male suspect fleeing toward Mayor Wright Housing.
The 39-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound and was treated and transported to the area hospital.
