On August 4, 2026, at approximately 4:08 p.m., District 4 officers conducted an Arson 1st investigation after a vehicle was intentionally set on fire.
 
A 21-year-old man observed two juvenile males pour an accelerant on his parked vehicle in the store parking lot on Kamehameha Highway before they fled on foot. Shortly after, the vehicle caught fire.
 
Witnesses described the suspects as two Filipino male juveniles, approximately 13 to 14 years old. One was wearing a red “Hawaii’s Finest” shirt, and the other was wearing a black shirt.
