HPD officers from District 4 Community Policing Team and District 6 Fourth Watch partnered with the Marine Corps Base Hawaiʻi Provost Marshal’s Office to promote traffic safety.
The initiative began with sign waving at the base entrance, reminding drivers to “Slow Down,” “Drive with Aloha,” and including the sobering reminder that “Speed Kills.” Officers also conducted a speeding operation as part of the effort, issuing over 20 speeding citations.
Traffic safety starts with each of us. Slow down, stay alert, and drive with aloha to help keep our roads safe for everyone. #CommunityPolicing #TrafficSafety #SaferRoadsTogether #DriveWithAloha #SafeEveryMile
