On January 22, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to an attempted murder incident in the Schofield area.
A 35-year-old male was involved in a domestic argument with his wife. As the victim attempted to leave the residence, the 33-year-old female suspect allegedly poured a boiling liquid onto him, causing severe burns.
The victim fled to a nearby residence, where a witness assisted him and contacted authorities. The victim was treated and transported to an area hospital.
A 33-year-old female was arrested at the scene for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
