On January 14, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., District 1 patrol officers arrested a 22-year-old male for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree following a machete assault on Kinau Street.
The 30-year-old male victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Officers located the suspect shortly after the incident, and the weapon was recovered.
