On December 11, 2025, at about 10:30 a.m., District 4 patrol officers responded to a traffic incident on Kamehameha Highway near Kuilima Drive, fronting Turtle Bay. A city bus struck a utility pole, which was severed at the base, leaving wires in the roadway. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.
Kamehameha Highway is temporarily closed in both directions while crews work to make repairs. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
