The Honolulu Police Department’s District 4 is investigating a Robbery in the First Degree that occurred on March 2, 2026, at approximately 12:40 a.m. at the Lāʻie Shopping Center.
A 42-year-old male had just withdrawn cash from an ATM when a white Nissan Sentra pulled in behind him. Two masked male suspects, both armed with black handguns, demanded cash and his vehicle.
The suspects fled in the victim’s gray 2018 Toyota Camry and a white 2021 Nissan Sentra which was stolen earlier from the area of Kapi‘olani Blvd.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
