On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., District 8 Patrol officers responded to Electric Beach in Nānākuli.

A 64-year-old male suspect approached a large gathering while armed with a knife. An argument ensued and a struggle occurred, during which a 54-year-old male and 49-year-old female sustained injuries.

Upon arrival, officers arrested the suspect for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.

The 54-year-old male was transported to an area hospital for treatment, and the 49-year-old female was treated at the scene.
