WAIʻANAE— On Oct. 3, 2025, at approximately 9:55 p.m., District 8 Patrol officers and HFD responded to a vehicle fire on private property along Hakimo Road in Waiʻanae.

The 24-year-old complainant reported seeing an unknown individual on her property through her home surveillance system before her 2017 white Dodge flatbed truck caught fire.

HPD has opened an investigation into the incident.
