On February 5, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a 14-year-old female was walking home from school in the area fronting 500 Keawe Street when a vehicle approached her.
Two local male suspects inside a silver or black sedan asked the juvenile if she wanted a ride. The victim declined. The suspects then asked if she wanted to be friends. She again refused, and the vehicle drove away.
The victim reported the incident to staff at a nearby middle school the following day, and 911 was notified.
The victim was not injured.
