On January 9, 2026, at about 7:22 a.m., a robbery occurred in the area of Hakimo Road. An unknown male suspect, wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, green pants, and a black ski mask, brandished a handgun and stole a 2002 Ford truck from a 35-year-old male victim. No injuries were reported.
The suspect fled in the stolen truck, while a second suspect fled in a white Mercedes (Hawai’i license plate WFW 070).
The stolen truck was recovered unoccupied around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Kuwale Road. The white Mercedes was determined to be stolen and remains outstanding.
